The Wet Paint Exhibition

This exhibition of Plein Air Art completed during KPA 26 by participants in the festival will run from Monday 1 June for seven days, as a significant event in the KAVA (Kinvara Area Visual Arts) calendar of exhibitions. This well-established KAVA Courthouse Gallery, located in the center of Kinvara village, is managed by the KAVA committee www.kava.ie

Registered KPA26 participants can submit one artwork which has been completed plein air over the weekend in any medium, framed or unframed. Space permitting, the organisers will endeavor to ensure that every artist will have one piece exhibited. If necessary, we may rotate work on display over the week and/or replace sold work with other pieces. We reserve the right to invite additional submissions, if necessary. A 25% commission applies to all sales (cash or credit cards accepted). Locally-based artists will be asked to volunteer to invigilate for one time slot. Artists will be reimbursed for sales within six weeks of the close of the exhibition.

Submit your artwork for the exhibition Sunday 31 May, 4pm-6pm in the Courthouse.

The exhibition will open on Monday 1 June at 3.30pm and run until Sunday 7 June.

Auction of artwork:

This annual exhibition also features artwork kindly donated by KPA tutors and guest artists. All proceeds of the auction (with bids accepted over the duration of the exhibition) will be shared between Kinvara Alive and Médecins sans Frontières
